Concept Note: Corporate Innova/on Program

IIHMR Startups, a specialized healthcare incubator under the IIHMR Foundation, is committed to fostering innovation in healthcare and allied sectors. To bridge the gap between corporates and innovators, we are launching the Corporate Innovation Program, an initiative designed to crowdsource cutting-edge solutions for organizations that are facing real-world challenges in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health tech, insurance, or allied sectors.
This Program will bring together startups already building relevant technologies and students from universities across India to develop innovative solutions for corporate problem statements.
Objective
The Corporate Innovation Program aims to:
- Identify key industry challenges by sourcing problem statements from corporate
- Engage startups and students to propose and develop innovative
- Support promising ideas by providing funding and mentorship to scale their
- Facilitate collaboration between startups, students, and corporates for real-world
Program Structure
- Problem Statement Collection: Corporates will share their most pressing
- Program Launch & Call for Applications: Startups already working on relevant technologies and students interested in problem-solving will be invited to participate.
- Idea Submission & Evaluation:
- Participants (startups & students) will submit a presentation (PPT) outlining their
- Solutions will be evaluated on innovation, feasibility, impact, and scalability.
- Top Solutions Selection:
- The top teams with the most promising solutions will receive funding from the corporate to develop their prototype or refine their technology.
- Winners will receive mentorship, industry exposure, and networking
- Demo Day & Corporate Partnerships:
- Finalists will present their refined solutions to
- Selected teams may receive further support, collaborations, or pilot opportunities with corporate partners.
