The 2nd Edition of TEDxIIHMR U continued to amplify voices that inspire change and innovation. The event celebrated the spirit of collaboration, with speakers contributing to an enriching atmosphere of learning and exchange.

Dr. Mayur Vinaykumar Kaku, renowned as the “Yogic Neurosurgeon” and a student of the Fellowship in Management at IIHMR, shared his unique journey of integrating Eastern and Western practices to treat neurological conditions without the need for surgical intervention. Dr. Kaku’s holistic approach to health through yoga and neuroscience deeply resonated with the audience.

Ms. Diksha Sekhri, who heads the Rajasthan Royal Foundation, delivered an inspiring talk on driving sustainable change through social impact initiatives. She highlighted the significance of crafting high-impact, low-budget communication campaigns and fostering a culture of giving and social responsibility to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Mr. Rohit Gajbhiye, an IIT Bombay alumnus and founder of LEO1, shared his inspiring journey of pursuing his true dreams and working tirelessly to create impactful solutions for students. He spoke about advancing financial inclusivity in education and building a successful multi-million-dollar company.

Dr. Suhasani Jain, an IIHMR University alumna and healthcare leader with over 15 years of experience, addressed the critical issue of medical errors, emphasizing their profound impact on patient safety and healthcare quality. She underscored that despite their extensive training, doctors are not infallible and are subject to human limitations, which calls for realistic expectations and a collaborative approach between doctors and patients.

Mr. Prateek Kasana, an MBA candidate at IIHMR University and a gold medalist in Pharmacy, captivated the audience with his inspiring journey from a terrified first grader who struggled with public speaking to a confident speaker who overcame his fears. He emphasized the importance of not taking criticism personally, understanding that it often reflects others’ perspectives rather than one’s own worth.

The impact of this event resonated deeply, motivating participants to think beyond boundaries.
